Club Meeting Notes

The February 10th Club meeting was called to order at 7:10am by Club President Kim Jennison. Club members present were Kim, Carolyn, Dan, Gordon, Jon, Ed, Norm, Brian, Dave, Molly, and Frank.

Carolyn provided us with some some interesting facts about Valentine's Day.

President Kim went over our upcoming projects and events- Whittemore Center Concessions on Feb. 20th and 27th and the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen on Feb. 27th. Sign-up sheets were passed around.

Carolyn handed out letters to be used to solicit donations for our sandwich making for the Special Olympics Basketball Tournament.

Dan will be working on a letter to send out to get donations for our Bike Helmet Program.

Frank is working on a re-design of out club web site.

Norm suggested we might want to start getting video of our events to post on You Tube.

Kim will be putting in an order from the Kiwanis Catalog to get some decals to spruce up our road signs and also to get  the Bug Program Kit which we hope to get started at New Franklin School.

It was decided that Wednesday-April 21st will be "Interclub Day", where we will try to do as many interclubs as possible. Mark your calendar and stay tuned for more details.

Norm got a chance at the 50/50 Jackpot and picked the ten of spades to win $7. The jackpot of $163 rolls over to the next drawing.

The meeting concluded with a round of Happy Dollars.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:57am.
