| Club Meeting Notes The October 14th Club Meeting was called to order at 7:06am by Club President Kim Jennison. Club members present were: Kim, Carolyn, Gerry, Norm, Brian, Dave, Molly, and Frank. Glen arrived late. We had one guest present: Patty Nickerson. Carolyn went over the upcoming flight schedule for Pease Greeters. President Kim reviewed the list of upcoming projects and activities: Whittemore Center Concessions on Oct. 17, 24, and 25; Salvation Army Soup Kitchen on Oct. 24; and the Kittery Halloween Party on Oct. 31. Sign-up sheets were sent around for all the projects. She also reminded members about the upcoming District Fall Conference in North Conway on November 20-22. President Kim reminded everyone that next week is our social meeting at The Common Man on State Street in Portsmouth at 6:00pm Glen got a chance at the 50/50 Jackpot and picked the five of diamonds. The meeting concluded with a round of Happy/Crappy Dollars and was adjourned at 7:50am. TD Bank Affinity ProgramThe New England District of Kiwanis is pleased to announce that it has joined

members in the district participate in the program. It is easy to
participate in this program and there is no cost to the members to do so. TD Bank will donate a percentage of the annual balance in every one of our members' accounts who participate in the program. No withdrawal is made from your account. TD Bank donates its own funds based upon your balance. Checking, savings, money market, CD's, and retirement accounts are all eligible. Business accounts qualify too! Here is how you can participate: -If you already have an account with TD Bank, visit or call your local branch and tell a Customer Service Representative that you would like your account(s) linked to the New England Kiwanis affinity program. The affinity code for the New England District is A1137. -If you do not have an account with TD Bank, visit any TD Bank location and open an account. Salvation Army Soup Kitchen We will next be volunteering at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen in Portsmouth on Saturday- October 24th from 4:00-6:00pm. Norm, Dave, Frank, Molly, Patty?, and Glen? have signed up. District Fall Conference The New England District of Kiwanis will be holding its Fall Conference the weekend of November 20-22 at the North Conway Grand Hotel in North Conway. The conference will provide a number of informative sessions about membership, service projects, fund-raising, and other useful Kiwanis topics. It's also a great way to get others connected to Kiwanis and interest them in joining. International Convention
