The January Board Meeting was called to order by Club President Kim Jennison at 7:05am on January 9, 2008.

Carolyn got a chance at the 50/50 Jackpot and picked the queen of hearts and won $8.

The minutes of the December Board meeting were read and approved.

The Treasurer reported the following balances in club accounts:

Administrative: $897.74
Community Service: $5909.44
Conferences/Conventions: $753.88
CD(Restricted Funds): $7933.64

Committee Reports were given for: Community Service, Fundraising, Service Leadership, Club Meetings, Membership, Public Relations, Youth Service, Young Children Priority One, and Human & Spiritual Values.

Under New Business:

The Board approved doing a fundraising project with the NH Fisher Cats baseball team. President Kim will be contacting them to finalize a date.

The Board authorized Dave Burke to make inquiries for the club to take over sponsorship of the South Berwick Holiday Parade.

The Board approved the purchase of a $50 raffle ticket from the Sheffield Kiwanis Club.

The meeting concluded with a round of Happy Dollars.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:00am

Salvation Army Soup Kitchen

We will be volunteering at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen in Portsmouth this Saturday- January 26th from 4:00-6:00pm.
 

January Collections

During the months of January and February, we will be collecting items for the NH SPCA. Click here to see the list of their most needed items. Please bring your donations to club meetings or pay a $1 fine.
