Board Meeting Notes

The February Board Meeting was called to order by Club President Kim Jennison at 7:05am on February 6th.

President Kim passed around a thank you letter from the Salvation Army for our donation of 40 turkeys for Thanksgiving.

Norm Leon had a chance at the 50/50 Jackpot and picked the eight of diamonds. The jackpot of $34 rolls over to next week's meeting.

The minutes of the January Board Meeting were read and approved.

The Treasurer reported the following balances in club accounts:

Administrative: $1026.74
Service: $4089.44
Conferences/Conventions: $753.88
CD (Restricted Funds): $8031.83

Treasurer Gerry informed the Board that he had renewed the CD for a new nine month term with Piscataqua Savings Bank and had withdrawn the interest which will be deposited into the Service Account.

Committee Reports were given for: Community Service, Fundraising, Service Leadership, Club Meetings, Membership, Youth Service, and Human & Spiritual Values.

Under New Business-

A request from the Swift Water Council of Girl Scouts to fund a campership was tabled.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:59am

Feb 13: Club Meeting at 7:00am at Community Campus 

(This meeting will be devoted to how we can grow our membership. Please attend and bring some ideas with you!)

Feb. 21: Interclub to Exeter 6:00pm

Feb. 27: Club Meeting at 7:00am at Community Campus

Salvation Army Soup Kitchen

The next date we will be volunteering at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen in Portsmouth will be Saturday- February 23rd from 4:00-6:00pm.

February Collections

During the months of February, we will be collecting items for the NH SPCA. Click here to see the list of their most needed items. Please bring your donations to club meetings or pay a $1 fine.
