| Board Meeting
Notes
Before the meeting got started, Glen shared with us some of his experiences last week in New Orleans working with a church group rehabbing a Katrina damaged home. The March Board meeting was called to order by Club President Kim Jennison at 7:10am on March 5, 2008. Carolyn got a chance at the 50/50 Jackpot and picked the two of clubs. The jackpot of $44 rolls over to next week's meeting. The minutes of the February Board Meeting were read and approved. The Treasurer reported the following balances in club accounts: Conferences/Conventions:$753.88
Committee Reports were given for Community Service, Fundraising, Service Leadership, Club Meetings, Membership, Public Relations, Youth Service, and Human & Spiritual Values. Under New Business: A Nominating Committee consisting of Kim, Carolyn, and Andrea was appointed to prepare a slate of candidates for club elections for 2008-09. The Board voted to make a donation of $100 to the NH SPCA. ($85 was collected via food fines the past two months.) The meeting concluded with some Happy Dollars. The meeting was adjourned at 8:05am. |
