Alwin Reissfelder Scholarship Award

Alwin Reissfelder was a 48 year member of the Portsmouth and Seacoast Kiwanis Clubs and passed away at the age of 93 in 2003. In memory of his tremendous contributions to Kiwanis, a $500 scholarship was created in his name to be given annually to a graduating high school senior who has performed exemplary community service during their high school years.

Hampton Roads Scholarship Award

Hampton Roads was the 2nd President of the Seacoast Kiwanis Club in 1986-87 and died in February 2006. A scholarship was set up in his name to be given as a remembrance of his contributions to Kiwanis and the community.

Joann Susan Engleman Scholarship Award

The Joann Susan Engleman Scholarship was established by the Kiwanis Club of The Seacoast in 1995. This $500 scholarship was established in memory of Joann Susan Engleman, a member of the Kiwanis Club of The Seacoast, who was tragically killed in an automobile accident in December 1994. The initial funding of the scholarship came from a donation from Joann's parents. Since then, the Kiwanis Club has continued to fund the scholarship through its fundraising efforts.
