The Kiwanis Club of The Seacoast
is sponsoring the annual Kittery Holiday Parade again this year. The parade will step off at 3PM from Traip Academy
and conclude at the John Paul Jones Park with the tree lighting. 
This year's parade theme is "LET IT
SNOW".
Businesses, youth groups, individuals, families and community organizations
are encouraged to enter a float or marching group in the parade.

PLEASE READ: IF YOU ARE ENTERING A VEHICLE OR FLOAT IN THE
PARADE, YOU MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
1. No Person may use or operate a vehicle or
float trailer unless they are equipped with wheel fenders to protect riders
and pedestrians from wheel assembly.
2. At least one adult other than the driver
shall supervise children riding outside of the driver compartment on vehicles
and floats.
3. Children riding on a vehicle or float shall
remain entirely within the perimeter of the vehicle and shall not be seated
with any part of their body extending over the side of the vehicle or float.
Children standing on vehicles or floats shall be reasonably protected from
probable injury if the vehicle suddenly starts or stops, i.e. hold on ropes,
padded objects, hold on rails or safety belts, etc.
4. At no time will candy and other objects
be thrown by people riding on vehicles or floats- adults may walk along
the sides of vehicles or floats to hand candy to the crowd.
